Here’s a little ear treat just for you! Everything (well, a lot!) you ever wanted to know about the NZIPP with Gino Demeer, the Institute’s current President!
Hi, my name is Lucy, and I am the creator, host, and producer of Burst Mode. So glad you could pop by!
It’s a busy time as I pull together all the delicious audio, marketing, and awareness-raising threads in time to launch the first episode of Burst Mode on 16 March 2022. I am so excited to bring you this podcast, featuring a host of photography luminaries including Esther Bunning, Nick Servian, Michelle Fey and Ya Zhou.
What’s Burst Mode all about?
Burst Mode combines two of my absolute loves: photography and chatting to people! I have been creating radio and audio features for over a decade, but this is my first foray into producing a whole dedicated series. Burst Mode brings you closer to some of the most influential and brilliant image-makers working and creating in Aotearoa today. It will appeal to anyone interested in the creative arts and anyone who likes to hear clever, talented people talk about what they love doing!
Special thanks to….
This podcast couldn’t have happened without the support, help, and encouragement of Esther Bunning and Catherine Cattanach. They both believed in my idea and put me in touch with this series’ wonderful guests. Esther also worked her magic producing all the fabulous images for this website and podcast, which will start to trickle onto the site and into socials very soon. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with them!
Huge thanks also the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) for supporting this podcast.
And of course… our first 10 Burst Moders! Thank you for your time, patience and generosity!
Where and when can I listen?
